UTAR Centre for Corporate and Community Development
(CCCD) organised a talk as part of the UTAR CEO Talk Series in collaboration
with UTAR Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science (LKC FES),
Unovate Centre and Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd.
The talk took place on 22 August 2022
at UTAR Sungai Long Campus.
Invited to give the talk was Greatech Integration (M)
Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dato’ Tan Eng Kee, who attended the
MoU signing
between UTAR and Greatech, and the launch of the new Greatech laboratory.
It was also attended by LKC FES Dean Ts Dr Yap Wun She.
During the talk, Dato’ Tan shared the good and bad
experiences which led him to his current position. He also spoke about
Greatech’s history and core values. He said, “Greatech has five important
core values for its customers and employees, which are Performance,
Integrity, Innovation, Teamwork, and Care & Respect. These values are
essential to Greatech as they help to guide our company to provide the needs
of our internal and external stakeholders.”

Dato’ Tan also spoke about Greatech’s facilities in
Malaysia and Michigan, USA, whilst explaining his company’s services and
equipment. He then explained the company’s four major pillars which were
Solar, E-mobility, Life Science and Semicon Automation.
Finally, Dato’ Tan inspired the participants by
talking about his past. He shared the highs and lows he faced throughout the
journey of becoming Greatech’s CEO, and urged participants to never give up
and to continue learning as knowledge is extremely important. The talk ended
with a Q&A session.
