Be Proactive

Being proactive is one of the seven excellent habits of highly effective and non-reactive people that is demonstrated by taking responsibility for their lives and actions rather than just watching how things go without doing nothing. Being proactive takes times because you need to consider your options, weigh your alternatives and make your own decision to achieving your goals. A reactive behaviour is the opposite of being proactive, where it is influenced by the external forces, mostly from the people and the environment. Because of this, all of us have been hardwired with a reactive mindset since young. Thus, to change our mindset, anticipating proactive behaviour is the first and foremost important step for us to start controlling our lives. Hence, we from the Counselling and Guidance Unit invite you to join our online talk about this issueIn this programme, you will learn the techniques and tips to start the cycle of change from reactive mindset to proactive mindset.
