The increasingly unexpected deaths worldwide and the average daily death cases in Malaysia as a result of global pandemic COVID-19 has hit approximately 300 to 400 cases per day by the 3rd week of September 2021. The total death cases in Malaysia due to COVID 19 has accumulated up to 28,400 cases as at 25 October 2021. Therefore, it is utmost important for parents to write a will to protect and provide for their children and loved ones in the event of an unexpected death. Leaving behind a Will enable people to make sure that their assets go to the person they intended it to. Writing a will serve to:
(1) Allocate estates according to their wishes.
(2) Elect people they trusted to be the executors of their will.
(3) Appoint guardians for their young kids below 18 years old, and others. By leaving a will, the deceased parent ensures their families can sustain living without their presence.
